Dear Mr. VP,
I’m at a bit of a loss with what to write at the moment, honestly. It was a long day.
So, like one should always do on a long day, I’m watching the Workaholics episode about Juggalos.
I’ll point out today’s hero, though.
Adam Rippon, a figure skater, believed to be the first openly gay US Winter Olympian, is unhappy you’ll be there in South Korea. And I don’t blame him.
Rippon: “If it were before my event, I would absolutely not go out of my way to meet somebody who I felt has gone out of their way to not only show that they aren’t a friend of a gay person but that they think they’re sick. I wouldn’t go out of my way to meet somebody like that.”
I hope more Olympians will follow suit and speak out.
