Funny, this law was passed after the election of Democrat Heidi Heitkamp.
It’s true, Heitkamp hasn’t exactly been a champion for the Native people in her state. However, Native Americans are still very likely to vote for the Democrat over the Republican.
But now many of them can’t vote.
My kid pledges allegiance to a republic every morning.
Seems like maybe we ought to change the words.
